28th Show to be one of the Biggest & Best in Years
It’s Here: Saturday, June 22, with Set-up Friday, June 21
We have sold about 130 tables to more than three-dozen vendors, including several first-timers, and the 28th Annual Tallahassee Model Train Show and Sale for 2019 is shaping up as one of the biggest and best in years. The show also will be highlighted by a dozen operating layouts. The big day is next Saturday, June 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Leon County Fairgrounds. Set-up is Friday, June 21, throughout the day. Our monthly meeting is Tuesday night, 7:30 p.m., at Capital City Christian Church, and it will be devoted to last-minute planning for the upcoming, wonderful weekend.
“The Tallahassee show is nearly three decades old and has become of the major model train events of the summer in north Florida, southern Georgia and southeast Alabama,” BBMRA President Andy Zimmerman says. “Attendance has been steady or has grown during each of the last several years. We have pretty much sold out our available space for sellers. We are very excited about this year’s show, expecting it to be one of our biggest and best.”
